# Fees

## Swap fees

BlankFX charges a spread on each swap. The spread is the difference between the oracle mid-rate and the rate you receive.

| Swap type | Typical spread |
| ---------------------------------- | -------------- |
| USD ↔ USD (e.g. USDC to USDT) | \~0.05% |
| Cross-currency (e.g. USDC to EURC) | \~0.10–0.30% |

The fee is shown in the interface on the quote step, before you confirm. Spreads are set by protocol parameters and may vary by pair and market conditions.

## Where fees go

100% of swap fees flow to liquidity providers. When you deposit into a pool, you earn your proportional share of all fees generated by swaps touching that pool.

The USD Pool earns fees from:

* All USD-to-USD swaps (USDC ↔ USDT ↔ RLUSD)
* The USD side of all cross-currency swaps (USDC → EURC, EURC → USDT, etc.)

This means USD Pool depositors earn from every trade on the protocol, regardless of currency pair.

## Gas fees

If you use gasless mode (default), you don't pay gas directly. The gas cost is included in the swap spread — you see one rate that covers everything.

If you submit transactions directly (advanced), you pay standard Ethereum gas fees.

## Gasless relay fee

When using the gasless relay via Permit2 + BlankFXRelayRouter, there is no additional relay fee charged on top of the swap spread. The gas cost is absorbed into the standard spread.

## Deposit and withdrawal fees

There are no fees for depositing into or withdrawing from liquidity pools. You pay only the standard Ethereum gas cost for the transaction.

## No hidden fees

There are no platform fees, no withdrawal penalties, and no performance fees on yield earned. The spread on swaps is the only cost.
