Getting started

What you need

  • An Ethereum wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet)
  • Stablecoins to swap or supply. On Sepolia (testnet) you can mint most test tokens from the app.

Step 1: Connect your wallet

Go to app.blankfx.org (or click Connect Wallet on blankfx.org). Pick your wallet and approve the connection.

Step 2: Make a swap

  1. Select the token you want to sell (e.g. USDC)
  2. Select the token you want to receive (e.g. EURC)
  3. Enter the amount
  4. Review the rate, the fee and the amount you will receive
  5. Confirm and sign in your wallet
The first time you sell a given token you approve it once to the Permit2 contract. That approval is an on-chain transaction and costs a little ETH for gas. After that, swaps of $100 or more are gasless: you sign a message and BlankFX submits the transaction and pays the network fee. Smaller swaps are sent from your wallet and you pay gas. See Swaps.

Step 3: Earn (optional)

  1. Open Earn
  2. Pick a currency pool (e.g. USD)
  3. Supply one stablecoin that the pool accepts
  4. Confirm in your wallet
You receive pool shares (e.g. BFX-USD). Fees from trades accrue to the pool, so each share is worth more over time. Newly supplied shares unlock after a short cooldown: 5 hours for the USD pool, 5 minutes for the other pools. See Earn.
